Walaa è una madre e moglie, costretta ad assumersi la responsabilità di sostenere da sola la famiglia dopo che il marito l’ha abbandonata per emigrare. Walaa decide di diventare autista di tuk-tuk, così potrà mandare i figli a scuola e acquistare le medicine per sua madre. Per noleggiare il mezzo, però, la donna si indebita ed è costretta a firmare molte cambiali.

Walaa, is a mother and a wife who’s forced to solely take on the responsibility of supporting her family after her husband abandons her to emigrate. In order to get her kids through school and get her mother’s medication, Walaa starts driving a tuk-tuk to make ends meet. In order to rent the tuk-tuk, Walaa had to sign a lot of security receipts and agreed to pay the money back in installments.

Il Regista

Mohamed Kheidr ha iniziato a disegnare storyboard all’età di 14 anni e si è specializzato in design grafico. Nel 2007 studia regia alla New York Film Academy. Il suo obiettivo è realizzare opere di qualità a budget molto contenuti. A questo scopo ha fondato una casa di produzione cinematografica e musicale con la quale produce opere proprie e di altri.

At the young age of 14, Mohamed Kheidr started his career as a story board artist and carved his way into graphic design. In 2007, Kheidr began studying film making at the New York film academy. He dedicated his career to make creative top notch quality artwork with limited budgets He established his own production house creating cinematographyc and musical projects. He produce his and others’s works.
