Il Regista

Tony Koros è uno sceneggiatore, regista e produttore keniano, attualmente residente a New York, dove nel 2018 ha completato il suo Master in Filmmaking presso la Tisch School of the Arts (NYU)Tithes & Offerings è il suo ultimo cortometraggio. Con i cortometraggi precedenti Tony Koros ha partecipato ad oltre trenta festival cinematografici internazionali tra cui Palm Springs International Shortfest, dove ha vinto il Premio Alexis nel 2017, Clermont-Ferrand 2018, FESPACO 2017, e ha vinto il premio Sembene al Zanzibar International Film Festival.Nel 2019 ha ricevuto la borsa di studio della Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Tony Koros is a Kenyan screenwriter, director and producer, currently based in New York where he completed his MFA in Filmmaking at the Tisch School of the Arts (NYU) in 2018.  His latest short film, “Tithes & Offerings” premiered in competition at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2019. His previous films short have screened at over thirty international film festivals including Palm Springs International Shortfest where he won the Alexis Prize in 2017, Clermont-Ferrand 2018, FESPACO 2017, and won the Sembene prize at the Zanzibar International Film Festival.  In 2019 he received a scholarship from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
