Sinossi
Cathy è una cuoca con il sogno di aprire un ristorante stellato tutto suo. Purtroppo, per problemi organizzativi e di bilancio, l’attività non decolla ed è costretta ad accettare l’impiego come cuoca in un Centro periferico che accoglie giovani migranti. Nonostante la propria riluttanza, la donna scoprirà un mondo mai immaginato prima fatto di relazioni forti e di nuovi amici.
Cathy is a cook with a dream of opening her own starred restaurant. Unfortunately, due to organizational and budgetary problems, the business does not take off and she is forced to accept employment as a cook at a suburban center that takes in young migrants. Despite her own reluctance, she will discover a previously unimagined world of strong relationships and new friends.
Il Regista
Louis-Julien Petit è nato a Tolone, in Francia, alla fine degli anni ’80. Per dieci anni ha fatto l’aiuto regista in decine di lungometraggi francesi ed internazionali. Ama sorridere e far ridere ma i temi che affronta nei sui film riguardano il lavoro e le problematiche sociali. Il suo primo lungometraggio è del 2013 e nel 2022 è uscito Sì Chef, il suo quinto film di fiction.
Louis-Julien Petit was born in Toulon, France in the late 1980s. For ten years he worked as assistant director on dozens of French and international feature films. He loves to smile and make people laugh but the themes he deals with in his films concern work and social problems. His first feature film was in 2013 and in 2022 Sì Chef was released, his fifth fiction film.
