Sinossi
Pochi giorni dopo Natale, in una città di periferia, in seguito al tentativo di suicidio di suo padre, un ragazzino di nome Abdou viene affidato a Sam, il suo vicino trentenne un po’ smarrito. Nel corso di una notte, i due giovani spaesati si incontrano e si prendono cura l’uno dell’altro. Un cane misterioso, color sabbia, fa loro visita.
A few days after Christmas, in a suburban town, following his father’s suicide attempt, a young boy named Abdou is entrusted to Sam, his somewhat lost thirty-year-old neighbor. Over the course of one night, the two disoriented young men meet and begin to heal together. A mysterious sand-colored dog pays them a visit.

Fabien Dao è cresciuto nella periferia parigina e ha scoperto il Burkina Faso attraverso il cinema e i cortometraggi di suo padre, Moustapha Dao. Diplomato alla Fémis, ha realizzato tre cortometraggi tra i suoi due paesi (Le Caïman de Boromo, Il pleut sur Ouaga, Bablinga). Attualmente sta scrivendo il suo primo lungometraggio, Princesse Téné, un western burkinabé.
Fabien Dao grew up in the Parisian suburbs and discovered Burkina Faso through cinema and the short films of his father, Moustapha Dao. A graduate of La Fémis, he directed three short films between his two countries (Le Caïman de Boromo, Il pleut sur Ouaga, Bablinga). He is currently writing his first feature film, Princesse Téné, a Burkinabé western.
