Sinossi
In una casa isolata tra due laghi gemelli del nord Rwanda, una misteriosa giovane donna passa qualche giorno con una coppia. Durante il suo breve soggiorno i legami con uno di loro si infittiscono e lentamente li uniranno.
In a lone house by the twin lakes in northern Rwanda, a young mysterious woman spends a few days with a couple. Along her short stay, her growing ties with one of them slowly pulls them together.
Il Regista
Philbert Aimé Mbabazi Sharangabo è un regista e produttore ruandese che vive tra il Rwanda e la Svizzera.
Nel 2017 si è laureato con lode presso La Haute École d’Art et de Design di Ginevra, nel Dipartimento di Cinema. Il suo precedente cortometraggio I Got My Things And Left ha vinto il Gran Premio all’Oberhausen International Short Film Festival nel 2019 (con qualificazione all’Oscar) ed è stato proiettato in più di 25 festival internazionali. Attualmente Philbert sta preparando il suo primo lungometraggio Spectrum, The End Can Wait, ambientato a Ginevra, la cui sceneggiatura ha fatto parte del Torino Script Lab 2020. Dirige anche Imitana Productions, una società di produzione con sede in Rwanda che produce i suoi lavori e quelli del vibrante panorama di giovani registi di Kigali.
Philbert Aimé Mbabazi Sharangabo is a Rwandese director and producer living between Rwanda and Switzerland.
He graduated with honors from La Haute École d’Art et de Design in Geneva in the Cinema Department in 2017. His previous short film I Got My Things And Left won Grand Prize at Oberhausen International Short Film Festival in 2019 (Oscar qualifying), and screened in more than 25 internationals festivals. He is currently writing his first feature film Spectrum, The End Can Wait which set in Geneva and was part of the Torino Script Lab 2020. He also runs Imitana Productions, a production company based in Rwanda which produces his work and those of the vibrant young filmmakers scene in Kigali.
