Gli effetti della guerra in Siria costringono i bambini a lavorare per sostenere finanziariamente le loro famiglie rinunciando alla loro infanzia e al diritto allo studio. Una storia che racconta le conseguenze della crisi e la lotta umana per la sopravvivenza.
The effects of the war in Syria force children to work to financially support their families by giving up their childhood and the right to study. The story tells the consequences of the crisis and the human struggle for survival.
Il regista
Al Mohannad Kalthoum è un regista siriano che ha conseguito un master in regia televisiva e cinematografica presso l’Università statale di Kharkiv in Ucraina. È anche docente presso il Media Preparation Institute di Damasco, e fondatore e direttore artistico del progetto Yalla Cinema per formare i bambini all’arte cinematografica. Ha diretto diversi cortometraggi premiati in numerosi Festival Internazionali.
Director
Al Mohannad Kalthoum is a Syrian filmmaker who earned a Master’s degree in TV and Film directing from Kharkiv Governmental University, Ukraine. He’s also a lecturer at the Media Preparation Institute in Damascus, and the founder and Artistic Director of the Yalla Cinema project to train children in the arts and sciences of Cinema. He directed several short films awarded at many international Film Festivals.
