DESCRIPTION:Taxi Waves è la mini serie in tre documentari\, prodotta da Controluce con TIMVISION\, che racconta la scena musicale elettronica in Africa\, attraverso il sound e il lifestyle di alcune città come Maputo\, Lagos e Addis Abeba. La serie\, disponibile in esclusiva su TIMVISION da oggi rivela i segreti delle produzioni africane e come queste influenzino artisti in America e in Europa. Un beat suonato dai più famosi Dj nei locali di Londra\, Berlino e New York\, ma che ha la sua origine nel ritmo della Pandza e Marrabenta in Mozambico\, del Pon-pon sound nigeriano o della musica House fondendosi con il folklore etiopico. \nOgni puntata di 30 minuti racconta un viaggio tra musica e cultura\, tra suoni e colori di un’industria che ha i suoi beniamini come Dj Ardiles\, Matilde Conjo\, Teni (i suoi video musicali hanno oltre 10 milioni di visualizzazioni in Internet)\, Slimcase\, S imi\, Betty G\, Rophnan. \nIn collaborazione con Fucina Culturale Machiavelli \n  \nL’autore del soggetto e co-sceneggiatore \nMikael Calandra Achode. Nato in Benin e cresciuto nella cultura street romana\, ha una vera passione per le sub-culture e concentra la sua attenzione creativa sull’intersezione tra musica\, culture vernacolari e comunicazione visiva\, favorendo temi quali l’identificazione e l’attualizzazione culturale all’interno della diaspora africana. Ha fondato Crudo Volta\, un progetto che documenta lo sviluppo delle scene africane contemporanee con l’uso dei media visivi. \n  \nIl regista e co-sceneggiatore \nTommaso Cassinis è nato a Roma nel 1985. Ha iniziato la sua formazione all’immagine subito dopo \nil diploma liceale\, apprendendo basi e tecniche al fianco di suo padre\, titolare della Controluce sas. Nel 2009 ha fondato Boogie Studio\, uno spazio creativo e punto d’incontro per fotografi e video maker romani e da allora lavora come free lance e collabora con numerose agenzie italiane ed estere soprattutto in campo pubblicitario e musicale. \n  \nFucina Culturale Machiavelli è un’impresa culturale no-profit fondata nel 2015 da un gruppo di giovani under 35\, con l’obiettivo di creare un’impresa in grado di dare lavoro stabile ai professionisti dello spettacolo\, riconoscendone il valore professionale. \nFucina è uno spazio off che chiunque può sentire come casa. È casa dell’Orchestra Machiavelli\, orchestra residente di Fucina. È luogo di produzione di spettacoli e concerti originali\, teatro in cui vengono ospitate compagnie professionali e sede di corsi di teatro e formazione. \n  \nWednesday\, November 6th at 9.00 pm \nFucina Culturale Machiavelli \nVia Madonna del Terraglio 10 – Verona (Theater ex Centro Mazziano) \nTaxi Waves is the mini series of three documentaries\, produced by Controluce with TIMVISION. He founded Crudo Volta\, a project that documents the development of contemporary African scenes using visual media. \n  \nThe director and co-writer \nTommaso Cassinis was born in Rome in 1985. He started his training in visual media immediately after the high school diploma\, learning basics and techniques by his father\, owner of Controluce sas. In 2009 he founded Boogie Studio\, a creative space and meeting place for Roman photographers and video makers. Since then\, he has been working as a freelance in collaboration with numerous Italian and foreign agencies\, especially in advertising and music. \n  \n Fucina Culturale Machiavelli is a cultural no-profit organization founded in 2015 by a group of young people under 35\, who wanted to create a place in which professional performers’ work could be officially recognized. \nFucina Culturale Machiavelli is an indipendent theatre where anyone can feel at home; it is home to the Machiavelli Orchestra\, our resident orchestra. It is the place where we produce original shows and concerts\, it is a theatre in which professional theatre companies can perform and a location for theatre and educational classes. \n
