Bolbol

Bolbol è una donna insoddisfatta e annoiata che non ha nulla in comune con il marito. Un sera viene invitata ad una festa di matrimonio nel locale sotto casa. Da quel momento si intrufolerà a tutte le feste che si terranno in quella sala. In questo modo Bolbol riacquisterà una femminilità che aveva dimenticato, soffocata dalla monotonia della routine quotidiana.

Bolbol is a dissatisfied and bored woman who has nothing in common with her husband. One evening she is invited to a wedding party in the room below her house. From that moment she will sneak into all the parties that will be held in that room. In this way Bolbol will regain a femininity that she had forgotten, suffocated by the monotony of daily routine.

La Regista

Khedija Lemkecher.  Dopo gli studi cinematografici a Parigi, Khadija Lemkecher inizia a lavorare come assistente alla regia con registi tunisini e registi stranieri come Lucas Geoges Cedric Klapish, Rachid Bouchareb, Nouri Bouzid …. Poi intraprende la carriera di regista di documentari, fiction, pubblicità e programmi televisivi. Come produttore lancia la prima Televisione privata in Tunisia e fonda una società di produzione audiovisiva con cui produce i lungometraggi Bab El Fella e The Cinemonde, diventando la più giovane tra i produttori tunisini. Da sempre impegnata a sostenere i diritti delle donne, fa parte della IAWRT, l’Associazione internazionale delle donne nella radio e television. Attualmente sta terminando il documentario Women of a pseudo-spring e contemporaneamente prepara il suo prossimo lungometraggio The 4 O’clock flowers.

Khedija Lemkecher. After film studies at Paris, Khadija Lemkecher starts an assistant director career with several Tunisian and foreign directors such as Lucas Geoges Cedric Klapish, Rachid Bouchareb, Nouri Bouzid… Then she started a career of documentary, fiction, commercials and television programs director. She worked as a producer after launching the first private Television in Tunisia before founding an audiovisual production company and become the youngest producer in Tunisia with the production of the long feature film Bab El fella and The Cinemonde. Khadija Lemkecher also advocates for the rights of women through her integration in the office IAWRT (International Association of Women in Radio and Television). Now she is finishing her documentary Women of a pseudo-spring and is currently preparing her upcoming feature film The 4 O’clock flowers.
